January 14, 2006 Italkart Captures 2005 Thailand ChampionshipThe Thai Italkart importer had an impressive season that was highlighted by capturing the Thai National Championship in the Pro Clubman class. In 15 race meetings entered, 15 pole positions were attained in four different classes with 5 different drivers. Even more impressive was the fact that drivers representing Italkart Thai went on to claim 11 victories in 15 races entered. The youngest drivers Issaret and Sandy stuvik, both recorded there best ever race finishes. Sandy won his first race in the Minimax class piloting his Elite chassis and Issaret won the Puma 85 cc class aboard his Italkart cadet. At the end of December, Issaret traveled to Macao and entered his first international race event in the 85 cc Comer class. Issaret competed against drivers from all over the world and placed 2nd in the final after a very big crash in the pre-final. For 2006, Italkart Thai is offering 3 of their Thai drivers a fully paid trip to Macao to enter an international racing event in 2006.
